An important component in the treatment of men with infertility is establishing the correct diagnosis. While it is still early and anything is possible, it just feels really great knowing with time and patience we can have more children. An appropriate individualized treatment is then recommended. Men who can ejaculate, but lack sperm in their ejaculate frequently have at least some sperm in their testicles.
Of these self-selected men did well without sedation. A tiny needle is used to extract sperm directly from the testis. It is possible to reverse a vasectomy by having bypass surgery, but the operation is frequently unsuccessful, especially for men with long-standing vasectomies.
